Private singing lessons with Ian Westrip, Graeme McFarlane and Gloria Wilson from 1984 to 1994. Private Flute Teacher in UK: Maiya Leilausis (1960-63).
Recently (July 2001) completed an intensive five-day workshop on levels 1 and 2 of the Jo Estill "Compulsory Figures" method of vocal coaching and (November 2001) a three day level 3 workshop. Both of these with Helen Tiller in Adelaide. Previously had some private sessions with Ros Barnes in Fremantle on this method.
Flexible singing and speaking voice with more than a three octave range. Experience as a Compere/Narrator.
Read music fluently, sight singing, theory and ear training good. Flautist in Orchestras and small Ensembles in the UK and Fiji. Principal flute, Band of the 7th Battalion, The Middlesex Regiment (British Army) 1952-56. Music organiser, Fiji Arts Club 1975-76. Conducted an amateur orchestra in UK.
Video Production skills acquired by courses at Frevideo and Perth Institute of Film and Television (These two organisations amalgamated to form the current Film and Television Institue, FTI). A computer professional for the last 15 years of my full time employment, I have recently acquired skills in Web Page design and have registered, built and maintained sites for several organisations (see personal links page for details).

Registered and built the National web site of the
Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS). A full member of ANATS for eight years and an active committee member of the WA Chapter before moving to SA in late 1998. Visited from WA to attend the ANATS 1997 Conference in Adelaide and came to live here about a year later.
Teaching Voice privately for eight years until 1998, but now retired, although I still do occasional private coaching.
